The neighbors are jealous!

Hans worked with us to turn our vague ideas into a complete landscaping plan for our new “backyard oasis.” He and his team did a great job helping us choose plants, installing the pond, and showing us how to care for our new "backyard oasis!" Thanks a million, Hans!

Seasonal Lawn and Garden Care

Spring-Clean-up.com

A clean yard promotes a healthier environment for both pets and humans alike. It can be a chore though, but we will do it for you! We'll pick up all lawn debris, such as wind blown garbage, leaves and fallen dead branches, and we will also do lawn fertilization, weed control of lawn and in planting areas, aeration and topdressing of lawns. Our Spring-Clean-up.com service will make your yard look like a poster out of Lawn and Garden! Leaves will be either moved to the curbside of your property, placed on your compost pile or at an additional charge removed off your premises.

Summer-Clean-up.com

For the summer we will do more fertilization and watering or irrigation treatments. We can also take care vacation relief and long term absence of the owner's gardening help.

Fall-Clean-up.com

For the Fall Clean Up we'll perform additional weed control of total landscape and preparation of lawn for winter season, aeration, topdressing and leaf removal. Based on the last few years' weather patterns in fall, please schedule your fall clean-up early.

Spring, Summer and Fall Clean Ups are very important to maintain the health and look of your lawn!

Topdressing

We improve and repair the soil & turf with Aeration Compost, Humus, Sand, Topsoil, Peatmoss, Mulch or OUR SPECIAL MIX for clay soils and possible grass renovation and over seeding.

We only use the best materials available on the market to maintain your newly topdressed area or property, and we can provide a full lawn service program.

Our lawn service program takes into consideration the environmental impact, and we will use organic materials such as humus and compost whenever possible. Topdressing will also control the thatch, and if needed, a dethaching session can be scheduled.

Compost Improves Turfgrass!

  • Helps Control Thatch
  • Provides Nutrients
  • Helps the Soil Retain and Release Nutrients
  • Helps Suppress Disease-Causing Bacteria and Fungi
  • Improves the Turf Root System

These advantages are due to the living organisms in the compost, as well as the partially degraded materials that provide compost's bulk. When compost is further degraded by microorganisms in the soil, it becomes humus, a gel-like mixture of soil materials, remnants of microbes, and organic matter.

What's the Bottom Line?

Continued top-dressing with compost and aeration will improve turfgrass stand, reaction to drought and resistance to disease. The overall health of the turfgrass, plus its increased root surface area, will reduce the necessity for chemical pesticide applications. Healthy turfgrass requires less maintenance.

Topdressing is needed because any and all traffic is compacting the soil and in compacting the soil (foot traffic, mowing, animals) the root growth is hampered.

Topdressing consists of mowing the lawn shorter, providing aeration and the application of topdressing material. Then dragging the aeration cores and the topdressing material into the aeration holes, level the unevenness of the lawn and possibly applicating grass seeds and watering, this will result in a possible total grass renovation.

Spring Fall clean ups of your lawn are a very important service to keep it in top shape.
